With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I’m excited to share some cute and SWEET DIY Candy gift ideas! And the best part, everyone is included when your gift has delicious allergy-friendly treats from YumEarth.

1. CANDY BOUQUET

You only need a few items to make this stunning gift! This DIY Valentine’s Day gift idea is great because it can be made as big or small as you want! It’s also a lot of fun to make with the kids and is great for Valentine’s Day pictures!

Supplies:

  • Jar, box, vase, or pot (there are a lot of options for the base!)
  • Dry foam that fits in the base you use
  • Bamboo skewers (You can get different heights of these for layering in a larger display)
  • Glue gun
  • Tissue paper
  • YumEarth’s Valentine’s candy are the best option for this! The YumEarth Heart Shaped Gummy Fruits are especially delicious and cute! Since they are free from the top 9 allergens and delicious and everyone can enjoy it!

How to Make it:

  1. Fit the foam piece in the base.
  2. Using the glue gun, attach different sizes of candy to the skewers. Optional: use different sized skewers for layering heights in a bigger base.
  3. Place a piece of tissue paper or two over the foam.
  4. Once dry, stick the skewers into the foam and tissue paper.  Position the candies at different levels to give it the appearance of a bouquet.
  5. Insert other festive items into the foam like hearts, balloons, etc. (I added hearts here).

2. STUFFED ANIMAL WITH CANDY

If you’re looking for the perfect simple gift for kids, this is it! ANY cute stuffed animal will work for these as long as it’s attached to allergy friendly, YumEarth candies! YumEarth candy makes for the BEST choice for my kids because they are free from the top 9 allergens with no artificial dyes or high fructose corn syrup, not to mention delicious! What more could anyone want for their Valentine?

Supplies:

  • Stuffed animal of choice (I grabbed these little ones from Hobby Lobby, and my kids were in love with them!)
  • Ribbon or string
  • Hole punch
  • YumEarth Valentine’s Candy of choice

How to Make it:

  1. Make a hole with the hole punch near the top of the candy bag so as to not break the seal
  2. String your ribbon through the hole and make a collar for your stuffy (you can also string a small card or gift tag on as well! I gave these to my little ones, so I didn’t include the tag).

3. VALENTINE'S BAKING KIT

This is another fun & easy gift idea. Before having kids, I loved making mason jars, with cookie mixes ready to go and cookie cutters for gifts. Since having kids with food allergies, a gift idea like this makes me cringe. Who knows what allergens could be in that jar! That’s why making a simple, allergy friendly “baking kit” is a great go to instead!

  • Your favorite Valentine’s candy! YumEarth’s Valentine’s candy selection is by far the best option for cookie toppings! The Valentine’s Day candy is not only allergy friendly & adorable, but they are also free from artificial dyes and high fructose corn syrup.
